Arbatax Park Resort extends over 60 hectares of Mediterranean grounds in the Bellavista Natural Park. It features 9 swimming pools, a private beach and a 2000 m² wellness centre.

Rooms are set in different villas, set between 10 and 100 metres from the beach. Hexagonal shaped and air conditioned, they offer a TV and Mediterranean décor.

Arbatax Park Resort Le Dune provides a wide range of sports and leisure activities. These include water sports, tennis and squash courts, and a football pitch.

This property features a dedicated area at the Lido di Orrì beach, where guests enjoy free use of a parasol and sun loungers. There also is a shuttle service from/to the private beach.

Unfortunately our room/bedding smelt of damp.We were only visiting for two days so just aired the room ourselves.Had we been staying longer we would have requested a room change.The room was lovely though and very clean,just damp.

Good value for the money

The coastline and private beaches were stunning. That made our stay in the resort. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast wasn’t good, very limited options. Too many cakes/pastries, not enough veggies and fruit options or hot meals options. The resort is run down, it needs some work to look better.

Gorgeous resort

Nice and well-decorated bedroom with gorgeous sea view. It was equipped with a new AC, minibar, closet and a spacious bathroom. Good nature atmosphere, beautiful beaches and wide range of pools which are very well maintained. Helpful staff.

Average food for breakfast and way way overpriced restaurants for dinner (absolutely didn’t expect 70€ for 2 in a cantina-like buffet and in low season…). Lot’s of mosquitoes everywhere inside the resort. Seriously recommend bringing repellent. Not a criticism, but to us wasn’t clear on Booking the dimension of this resort. It is really huge and to get from your room to parking lot for instance you need to take a bus unless you want to climb up the hills for 20min or more. Also if you want to go for a further place you either walk the distance or need to wait for the shuttle, which can also take up to 20min waiting. It’s something to consider specially if you’re there for only a few days like we did and want to take the most out of your experience there.

Good

Great location. Rooms clean and spacious.

Less than ideal parking situation, you have to wait for a shuttle that runs only every 20mn from the parking to a drop off point and then you still have to walk 5/10mn to your room depending of it's location in the resort. A real deal breaker especially for the price.

Really amazing!

The resort is fairy-tale like! The staff was truly lovely, friendly and always in a good mood. Once you arrive, you are picked up and escorted to your room. It is a large resort so it definitely means lots of walking. But, there is a bus which you can take to bring you to the points you want to go. However, we loved walking, especially in the park Bellavista. Due to the change of the staff which recently happened, the food quality improved. It was very delicious and both, breakfast and dinner, offered a variety of options for all tastes. I would definitely come back one more time.

The rooms in Dune require a bit of renovation but when you look at the whole picture more closely, it is a huge huge resort and taking care of it requires a lot of time and a lot of financial means, which is definitely challenging and needs to happen gradually.

If internet worked better inside rooms it would be seriously good holiday.

Food, breakfats and dinner OK bit more of variety would make better picture. Place is very natural, if you like greenery around you definitely place to stay . Beaches OK

The best thing was extremely helpful and polite manager Miss Barbara she is soul of hotel.

We loved our stay! Very quiet and relaxing environment. The only thing I didn’t quite enjoy was the food on site but we left the resort for food outside the resort. We ate dinner there one night and the price was quite expensive compared to the quality we received. Staff were so kind and helpful. We also enjoyed the spa to really relax!

We liked the room we had with the view. Easy access directly to the beach with umbrellas and bar was excellent. The ocean was beautiful and clear water. The amenities were great even if a little old.

Very hard to get to the car and come and go from the property which was very big in size so it was too far to walk the whole way. The only way to get around the property was a hop on hop off bus that ran every half an hour. It also felt like the staff wanted to keep you inside the resort and not go outside to see and experience the whole area of Arbatax. Very little information was shared about Arbatax itself. The food was average for the price. Very over priced ala carte restaurant inside the resort. Having to wear wrist bands the whole time you were made you feel like you were at school camp. We didn't wear ours all the time. Only for when we had to eat as they were very strict about it.

Wonderful

Excellent resort and beach access. Del Mare restaurant staff were exceptional which made the amazing food even better. All accommodation staff very helpful and friendly.

Drive through town to resort was questionable. Town unkempt and off-putting. House keeping did not refil water or tea/coffe during stay

Breathtaking views and nature

It was a beautiful resort in a private peninsula with a gorgeous nature, wild animals, coves and sea where you can definitely do snorkeling and see a lot of fish. Free canoe equipment was surprising in a positive way. There was also a possibility to rent a private boat to see the gorgeous coves nearby. Our room and especially its sea view was breathtaking! We enjoyed our time overall!

Our aim was actually to rest in the hotel all times, but there was just one a la carte restaurant and it was not that good which is a shame. Because for a high standard hotel we were expecting also high quality food. So after eating 3 days in the same place we decided to eat outside, but reaching the parking or outside was also not that easy since the residence area was quite big. So we lost every time a lot of time.

Great resort with many different types of rooms to cater for most guests. Thank you for allowing to move to Borgo

Unfortunately Dune was not for us, after 1 evening we decided to move to Borgo Cala Moresca Arbatax as we found this part of resort more relaxing and more what we were looking for, travelling as a couple we prefer less of a family atmosphere and more of a relaxed atmosphere with not many children.

It was a very cool location, easy beach access which was amazing, great access to different facilities, clean and tidy food

The food was very average (felt like a canteen), and the rooms were quite small, even though we booked a sea, hoping to have a better view of the water. Overall a great experience though!!

to be honest when I booked I wasn’t expecting to be a massive resort, it’s absolutely beautiful, unreal!

the fact, our parking was very far from the rooms, the options are limited as we had just a buss to get to the parking.

A good stay all in all.

The villas, the ambiance, the beach, most of the staff. The room was great and very clean. The layout of the park was also very enjoyable to discover.

Being cruised by the staff upon arrival before the check-in was a less than desirable situation. When you get to the resort, there isn't a lot of indications as to what you're expected to do: where to park, where to show up, etc. The long wait with the weirdo trying to pick me up in front of my friends made it more awkward. We were passing by only for one night. The person who made our check in was very polite and professional, although their colleague was looking down on us for not staying longer and explained in very broad strokes the resort and services. The buffet were plentiful but I expected more quality from them. It was ok. Also, worth noting that there are a lot of jelly fish on that coast and their beaches are not immune to their presence. Beware, bathing isn't always an option.

Nice resort especially if you have children who want to see the animals

It was humid in the room The bed and the bedsheets were not comfortable On the day of departure we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come pick us up at our little cottage… We didn’t like the fact that the park was so big and that our car was left at the entrance, very far from everything
